The 2026 season at Grand Harbour is shaping up to be an exciting one, with a thoughtfully curated calendar of events designed to bring our waterfront community together. In addition to a series of weekly favourites—including bike nights and car cruise-ins—guests and members can look forward to a mix of regularly scheduled weekly and monthly events that add energy and connection throughout the season.
Planned highlights include karaoke nights, open mic evenings, bingo nights, painting at the pier, and Saturday sunrise yoga on the pier, along with a variety of relaxed social gatherings and lively waterfront celebrations. Each experience is thoughtfully designed to reflect the spirit, creativity, and lifestyle of Grand Harbour—offering something for every age and interest.

Volunteer for our Social Committee
Grand Harbour’s vibrant events are made possible through the support and creativity of our Social Committee, and we invite members who are passionate about community and connection to get involved. We are always looking for volunteers to help plan, organize, and bring to life the memorable gatherings that make each season special. Whether you enjoy event planning, creative ideas, or simply lending a hand, your involvement plays an important role in shaping the Grand Harbour experience.

Van Dette. Regular meetings will be held in collaboration with our marina team, ensuring ideas are supported, events are well coordinated, and every gathering reflects the spirit and lifestyle of Grand Harbour. Together, we can continue to create exceptional moments on and off the water.
GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Making a Difference on Paw at a Time
At Grand Harbour, giving back is woven into who we are. Animal welfare holds a special place within our harbour community, and we are proud to support causes that reflect our values of care, compassion, and responsibility. Our charity of choice is the Ontario SPCA, whose vital work supports animals in need across the province.
Lagoon City has long been known for its resident cat population and established colonies, which have become a familiar part of the community’s character. At Grand Harbour, we actively support humane care initiatives through trap, spay, and neuter programs, along with fostering efforts, helping to responsibly manage and protect these cats while improving their health, safety, and long-term well-being.
Building on the momentum of our inaugural season, our 2026 fundraising goal is $5,000—more than doubling what we were able to raise in 2025, when, despite operating for only half a season, our members, guests, and team collectively contributed over $2,000.
With boats, docks, vendors, and gathering spaces activated throughout our signature fundraising weekend, the experience blends fun, education, shopping, and heartfelt giving into one unforgettable waterfront celebration—anchored in compassion and community.
Grand Harbour is proudly animal-friendly, and it shows every day. You’ll often see our team accompanied by their four-legged companions—from our Harbour Master and his first mate, Peanut, to our office “kitties” Phoenix and Harley who keep a watchful eye on our Property Operations Manager Vanessa, Jody’s apprentice dog Willow, and Angela’s loyal partner Chevy.
In 2025, we also helped rescue several cats in need, providing them with a safe home right here at the harbour. One special tom cat has even taken on the role of our beloved working cat—affectionately known as Garfield—cared for, fed, and sheltered within our shop.
As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue growing our fundraising efforts and deepening our impact. Together with our community, we’re committed to making a meaningful difference—one event, one season, and one paw at a time.
2026 FUNDRAISING GOAL
Our goal for 2026 is to raise $5,000 in support of the Ontario SPCA.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised over $2,000 in 2025 in just half a season, and we’re excited to build on that momentum as we work toward—and beyond—our 2026 goal.
