With more than 25 years of hands-on experience in marine service and repair—including an extensive background with Crate’s Marine—Jody brings exceptional technical expertise, precision, and a genuine passion for vessel care.
As a certified technician for Mercury Marine and Volvo Penta, Jody is trusted to deliver manufacturer-approved service at the highest professional standard. From routine maintenance and performance optimization to launch and haul-out coordination and complex mechanical diagnostics, his attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure every vessel is treated with the utmost care.

The Marine Service Centre at Grand Harbour offers a trusted, on-site solution for comprehensive vessel care and maintenance, supported by a level of service designed to make ownership effortless. Staffed by licensed, highly experienced technicians, the facility provides everything from routine engine servicing and diagnostics to advanced mechanical, electrical, and fibreglass repairs—delivered with precision and professionalism.
Equipped with a 35-ton travel lift, mast crane, and full haul-out capabilities, the service centre is designed to accommodate vessels up to 60 feet with efficiency and care. For members, dockside service is available, allowing many maintenance and repair needs to be addressed directly at the slip—minimizing disruption and maximizing time on the water.

Javier Enrique brings a wealth of hands-on marine service experience to Grand Harbour, shaped through his work at the prestigious Toronto Yacht Club—one of Canada’s most respected sailing and boating institutions. His background reflects a deep understanding of vessel care, marina operations, and the exacting standards expected within high-performance and private yacht environments.
Javier has now made his professional home at Grand Harbour, where his services can be conveniently booked directly through the marina. Known for his reliability, technical skill, and calm, solutions-oriented approach, he supports a wide range of marine service needs with a strong focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail. Grand Harbour offers professional boat detailing and polishing services designed to keep your vessel looking immaculate and feeling inviting, both inside and out. Delivered with care and precision, our detailing services restore brilliance, protect finishes, and ensure your boat is always presentation-ready.
Interior Detailing (Cockpit & Exterior Areas) includes a thorough washdown of all exposed surfaces such as gelcoat, fibreglass, stainless steel, rub rails, glass, aluminum, and exterior fittings. Teak wood surfaces can also be carefully cleaned and polished upon request, preserving their natural beauty and longevity.
Interior Cabin Detailing focuses on comfort and cleanliness below deck. This service includes a complete vacuum of all interior spaces, deep cleaning of upholstery, and wipe-down of all exposed surfaces throughout washrooms, sleeping areas, kitchens, and cabins—leaving interiors refreshed, sanitary, and welcoming.
For exterior care, our Deck & Hull Bath provides an intensive wash and deep scrub of all exposed surfaces to remove dirt, grime, bird droppings, and surface oxidation. This detailed process ensures your vessel maintains a clean, polished appearance throughout the season.
Our Polishing, Waxing & Compounding services go a step further to protect and rejuvenate your gelcoat. The process includes a full exterior wash and hand dry, followed by the application of wax and cleaner using high-speed professional buffers. Compounding is applied as needed to remove medium to heavy oxidation, restoring depth and shine. All stainless steel is also cleaned and polished to a brilliant finish.

Shelby is a marine fabrication and restoration specialist with more than a decade of hands-on experience in custom fabrication and fibreglass repairs. Her career includes working with renowned Radical Restoration in Barrie, where her work was featured in a couple of episodes on the show Radical Rides. Her ability to deliver high-impact results, fine finishes, and exceptional craftsmanship under demanding production standards.
Shelby is known for her meticulous attention to detail and advanced finishing techniques, with strong expertise in fibreglass repair, surface preparation, and professional painting methods. Her approach combines technical precision with an artistic eye—ensuring every repair or fabrication not only performs properly but looks exceptional.
A lifelong watercraft enthusiast, Shelby has also undertaken professional training through Boat Canvas University, learning from the worlds best at a globally recognized training facility and certification program dedicated exclusively to marine canvas fabrication, upholstery, and repair. This specialized accreditation is important because it ensures work is completed using marine-specific construction standards, correct materials, and proven fabrication techniques—resulting in canvas products that are durable, weather-resistant, and precisely fitted for life on the water.
With a long-standing passion for design and sewing, Shelby’s training is a natural extension of her skill set. Using a commercial walking-foot sewing machine specifically suited for marine applications, she creates and repairs custom boat canvas tops, enclosures, and soft goods built to perform in real-world conditions. Her work brings refined craftsmanship and elevated canvas solutions to Grand Harbour and to Lake Simcoe, helping boaters enjoy both function and style at the highest level.
