YARD OPERTATIONS
Meet Aiden Arkell
We’re pleased to welcome Aidan Arkell to the Grand Harbour team as our new Yard Operations Lead.
Aidan brings hands-on marine and trades experience to Grand Harbour, with a strong background in marina yard operations, boat storage, vessel transportation, shrink wrapping, winterization, detailing, fibreglass and gelcoat repair, and boat restoration. In his previous marina role, Aidan was responsible for coordinating yard operations and deliveries, organizing boat storage, preparing vessels for seasonal storage and safely transporting boats and trailers to marinas, service facilities and customer locations.
Aidan also brings experience in automotive service, construction and equipment operation, along with a Trades Fundamentals Certificate from Durham College. His mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and hands-on approach make him a great fit as we continue to expand our Ship Yard, storage and marine service operations at Grand Harbour.
As Yard Operations Lead, Aidan will play an important role in coordinating vessel movements and storage, shrink wrapping and seasonal preparation, maintaining an organized and safe yard, and assisting our service team with the many projects required to keep our members' boats well cared for.
Welcome aboard, Aidan! We’re excited to have him as part of the Grand Harbour team and look forward to introducing him to our members as we head into the fall haul-out and storage season.
