Grand   Harbour Marina is a premier waterfront destination located in Lagoon City,   Brechin, Ontario — on the beautiful east shore of Lake Simcoe. Under new   ownership and management, we are transforming this iconic marina into a   destination defined by elevated service, exceptional amenities, and a genuine   passion for the boating lifestyle.

Our   public boat launch is one of the busiest and most important access points on   Lake Simcoe — a gateway to the water for hundreds of boaters, families, and   anglers throughout the season. We are committed to making that experience as   safe, smooth, and welcoming as possible, and our Boat Launch Attendants are   the people who make it happen.

THE ROLE

Grand Harbour is looking for a motivated, dependable driver to deliver restaurant orders and marina store & market purchases to our neighbours in Lagoon City, Bayshore Village and surrounding neighbourhoods. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn flexible extra income in a welcoming waterfront community!

This is an active, role that requires patience, good judgment, attention to detail and a genuinely helpful attitude.  No prior marina experience is required; we provide full training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely and efficiently deliver food orders, market items, and marine parts to local residents and boaters 
• Coordinate with restaurant, market, and marina staff to ensure orders are accurate, complete, and ready for timely dispatch 
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during each delivery, representing Grand Harbour Marina with a high standard of service 
• Handle and transport items with care, ensuring proper storage conditions (e.g., hot food, cold items, fragile marine parts) 
• Navigate delivery routes on and around the marina, including docks, slips, and surrounding local areas in Lagoon City, Bayshore Village and surrounding neighbourhoods that are within the delivery route.
• Process payments and obtain delivery confirmations as required if advance payments were not made at time of order
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of delivery vehicles or carts 
• Communicate effectively with marina dispatch or management regarding order status, delays, or customer inquiries 
• Assist with light duties around the marina, restaurant, or market during downtime as needed
• Plan route and schedule deliveries in a timely manner

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving abstract 
• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance 
• Strong knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate efficiently 
• Ability to lift and carry items (food orders, cases, marine parts) up to 40–50 lbs 
• Excellent time management and reliability in a fast-paced environment 
• Professional, friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills 
• Comfortable handling cash and processing payments accurately 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays 
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and around docks/marina environments

Preferred (Not Required   — We Will Train the Right Person)

• Previous delivery driving or courier experience 
• Experience in hospitality, food service, or retail environments 
• Familiarity with marina operations or boating environments 
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices 
• Experience using POS systems or mobile payment apps 
• Strong familiarity with local residents, waterways, and dock layouts 
• Ability to operate small utility vehicles, golf carts, or marina equipment 
• Basic knowledge of marine parts and equipment 
• Smart Serve or similar certification (for alcohol delivery, if applicable) 
• Customer-focused mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
