THE ROLE

As a   Facility Cleaner, you are a key part of the first impression Grand Harbour   Marina makes every single day. Your work ensures that every member and guest   — whether stepping off their vessel or arriving for the first time —   encounters a spotless, welcoming environment. From washrooms and shower   facilities to outdoor docking areas and gathering spaces, your attention to   detail will be visible in every corner of our property.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning &   Sanitation

• Clean and sanitize   washrooms, showers, and laundry facilities to a consistently high standard   throughout each shift

• Sweep, mop, and maintain   all floor and hard surfaces across marina buildings and amenity areas

• Wipe down and disinfect   high-touch surfaces including countertops, door handles, faucets, and   fixtures

• Monitor and replenish   supplies including paper products, soap, and cleaning materials on an ongoing   basis

Outdoor & Common   Areas

• Maintain cleanliness of   all outdoor spaces including docks, walkways, patios, seating areas, and   event spaces

• Remove litter and debris   from exterior grounds and marina access areas

• Empty garbage and   recycling bins regularly, ensuring proper waste segregation and disposal

• Assist with seasonal   preparation, opening, and closing tasks as directed by the Operations team

Monitoring &   Reporting

• Conduct proactive   facility walkthroughs throughout each shift to ensure consistent presentation   standards

• Identify and promptly   report any maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to the Operations   Manager

• Complete any required   cleaning logs, checklists, or inspection forms accurately each shift

• Uphold the Grand Harbour   Marina brand standards in presentation, professionalism, and guest   interaction

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• Reliable, punctual, and   self-motivated — able to manage time effectively with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to   detail and a genuine commitment to cleanliness and presentation

• Comfortable working both   indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Physically capable of   lifting up to 25 lbs and performing routine cleaning duties throughout a full   shift

• Professional and   courteous when interacting with marina members, guests, and fellow team   members

• Available to work   flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Preferred (Not Required   — We Will Train the Right Person)

• Previous janitorial,   commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping experience

• Familiarity with WHMIS   and safe handling of cleaning products and chemicals

• Experience in a marina,   resort, or outdoor hospitality environment
